One of the easier options. No Transfers. Straight from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko Station. Limited tickets available, be proactive, they tend to sell out.
The Express buses are a fantastic choice. Most economical. No Transfers. Buses are usually equipped with comfortable seats and on-board Wi-Fi. Starts from Shinjuku, Shibuya and Tokyo Station.
The budget rail option. No reservations needed. Take a JR Chuo Line train from Shinjuku or Tokyo Station to Otsuki, then change to the Fujikyu Railway for Kawaguchiko. Lower fare than the Fuji Excursion, but slower, with at least one transfer.
